How to Make Mini-Flamethrower... CAUTION!

Supplies

You will need to have the correct supplies:

1. Hairspray bottle or insect repellent 
2. Toothpick
3. Small birthday candle
4. Lighter/match
5. Tape, super glue, or gorilla glue (anything that has strong sticking)

For people with glue

1. Have the flammable bottle ready, with the pointer (little circle that emits the spray) away from you
2. With your super glue or gorilla glue, use the sticky substance on the end of the toothpick (so the end of the toothpick has the glue, if you're using tape, don't do this step)
3. Put the sticky end of the toothpick on the SIDE of the bottle nosel, so the spray and the toothpick are parallel.

For people with tape

1. Have the flammable bottle ready, with the pointer (little circle that emits the spray) away from you
2. With the tape, tape one end of the toothpick to the SIDE of the nosel, so the spray and the toothpick are parallel (tape REALLY good).
3. Make sure the tape doesn't cover the spray

The candle - people with glue

1. Glue the end of the candle (not the end with the wick) to the end of the toothpick (the side that is sticking out, not attached to the bottle)
2. Tape would be useful in this step if you have it
3. Make sure wick is a little behind the spray

The candle - people with tape

1. Tape the end of the candle (not the end with the wick) to the end of the toothpick (the side that is sticking out, not attached to the bottle)
2. TAPE REALLY WELL
3. Make sure the wick is a little behind the spray

Final

For both glue and tape:

1. Now that the object is complete, all you have to do it GO OUTSIDE and use this -- DO NOT USE THIS AS A WEAPON OR WITH PEOPLE AROUND -- THIS MAY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY
2. Light the end of the wick of the candle (fire on wick should be on same line as spray nosel)
3. Done! Now extend your arm out at a reasonable distance (full extension) and spray OUTWARDS away from you, plants, people, and flammable objects
4. If your bottle is a bottle that can spray without end, take breaks for the fire will go out

Tips

• This is great for taking out small bees' nests - but CAUTION - BEES ARE DANGEROUS!
